Application Process

 
Although the priority deadline has passed, Trafton will continue accepting applications on a rolling admission basis for the 2025-2026 school year.

Admission Requirements

Admission Application

Create an online account to submit your child's application. A non-refundable application fee of $50 is required when applying.  The 2026-2027 application deadline is January 16, 2026.

Birth Certificate and Immunizations

All students must submit a copy of their birth certificate for the admission process. Students must be four years old by September 1st. Immunization records are required for all incoming students. 

Progress Report

If your child is enrolled in a Pre-K3 program, we require a copy of their progress report or skills checklist. Please email the report to admissions@trafton.org by February 6th.

Student Visit

All applicants are asked to participate in a campus visit with our Pre-K4 teacher.  Campus visits will begin in November, and the dates and sign-up will be released in October.  

Admission Application

Teacher Recommendation Form

A completed teacher recommendation form is required for applicants currently enrolled in school. Forms should be submitted to the Admissions Office. You may electronically send the recommendation form to the teacher within the online application portal or print a copy for the teacher to complete. All recommendation forms are confidential between the student's teacher and the Admissions Office.

Progress Report

Admission Testing

1st and 2nd grade applicants will complete an in-house assessment during their shadow visit.

The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) is required for all applicants entering grades 3 & 4.  You may register for the test here. Trafton's school code is 571114. Trafton requires applicants to submit current testing (no more than six months from administration). You may submit two ISEE tests for admission. Testing must be completed by February 6, 2026.

3 previous years of report cards are required for all applicants. Parents may upload report cards during the application process or email them to admissions@trafton.org. Please upload the report cards to the online portal by February 6th.

All applicants are invited to an in-class student visit. Dates to reserve a visit will be announced in December.
